For several years, Luce Group worked with Benson Marketing to create elegant and contemporary looks for their Bordeaux Wine Tasting events, held first at the Metropolitan Pavilion (top 3 pictures) and then at the Altman Building (lower 3 pictures) in New York City.
Luce Group designed the layout, decor and the lighting. The focal point of the design was a twelve-foot tall rendition of the Bordeaux Logo, which slowly changed color. This drop was built to travel easily and function as a backdrop for smaller events. The rest of the decor was kept simple, using wine red, grey and white for linens, drapery and flowers. Lighting enhanced the architecture of the rooms and defined the visitor space. Small touches like grapes in the floral arrangements and a repetitive bubble pattern on the drapery and the floor added a touch of whimsy while reinforcing the Bordeaux wine theme.
